30 April 2018 (London): Joseph Hage Aaronson LLP (JHA) confirms the appointment of senior disputes specialist Richard Kiddell as a new partner in the firm. Richard previously worked at Hogan Lovells, recently leaving the firm after thirteen years1.

Richard is the second partner to join JHA in ten months, with high profile litigator Michelle Duncan joining from Paul Hastings (Europe) in June 2017. These senior appointments have been supported by a number of barrister and solicitor recruits at Associate level. The team expansion reflects the firm’s continuing focus on delivering accelerated growth to meet increasing market demand for its leading disputes capabilities.

Richard commented on his appointment, “I am delighted to be joining JHA at such an exciting time. The firm’s model is designed specifically to deliver exceptional client service, by integrating solicitors and barristers into client teams from the outset. The current size of the firm means it is agile and responsive to client needs, while delivering a full-service approach to complex disputes with senior specialists providing counsel in litigation, arbitration and mediation.”

Joe Hage, Managing Partner, welcomed Richard to the firm, “We are delighted to have Richard join us. He brings with him a wealth of expertise that will help us to deliver added value to current clients, increase the depth of our offer and support our Associates in their professional development. Richard has extensive experience in litigation support services, including technology, and I am confident that he will provide invaluable insights as we continue to grow the business.”

Richard specialises in both international arbitration and commercial litigation matters. He has advised clients across a wide variety of sectors, including energy, TMT, ADG, transportation (including automotive) and construction. He has acted for commercial parties, high net worth individuals and state-owned entities.
