Dan has been an Associate at JHA since joining the firm in 2014.
His work focuses on a wide range of international commercial disputes. He has substantial experience of contractual, company, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, including shareholder actions, claims for malfeasance and breach of fiduciary duties, and for the adjustment of prior transactions in liquidation and administration. He also has experience in relation to a range of pre-emptive remedies and enforcement, including in relation to worldwide freezing injunctions, winding-up petitions and administration.
Dan has represented clients in all levels of the English courts including the Supreme Court, in arbitration, expert determination and mediation, and in relation to disputes in a range of international jurisdictions. He has appeared before various arbitral institutions and has particular recent experience of LCIA, ICC, AAA and ICSID arbitrations. He has advised on dozen of claims, including in relation to group and representative actions including shareholder class actions, and international investment claims.
He has regularly provided pro bono representation, including as a member of Advocate, the Bar’s pro bono organisation, and as a charity trustee.
