PROFILE
Dara joined JHA as an Associate in 2021. He is dual-qualified as a solicitor and barrister (currently practising as a barrister) specialising in commercial dispute resolution.
Dara has a broad commercial practice with a particular focus on high-value and multi-jurisdictional litigation involving allegations of fraud, dishonesty and breach of fiduciary duty. He often advises clients in relation to pre- and post-judgment asset preservation and enforcement action, including asset freezing and receivership orders and applications for the recognition and enforcement of judgments abroad. Dara is also regularly instructed to advise on disputes in the energy, banking and pharmaceutical sectors. He has acted in cases at all levels of the English civil courts and in LCIA, ICC, ICSID and LMAA arbitrations. Dara also has experience of regulatory investigations and has represented clients charged with bribery, corruption and regulatory offences in the UK and US.
Prior to joining JHA, Dara practised as a solicitor-advocate in the London office of a leading international law firm before transferring to the Bar and completing pupillage at a commercial set of chambers.
