PROFILE
John joined JHA as an Associate in 2015. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and international arbitration proceedings governed by multiple major institutional rules, particularly the ICC and ICSID. He has developed significant expertise in cross-border cases, often involving complex private international law issues. John has advocacy experience before the English Courts, as well as having appeared as sole advocate before the European General Court.
John has acted on numerous commercial cases, with his litigation experience including freezing orders, banking and finance, energy and civil fraud. He has also been extensively involved in proceedings seeking the annulment of EU sanctions, as well as advising on various confidential matters of public international law.
John was the Assistant Editor of the Journal of World Investment and Trade between 2014-2021.
