PROFILE

Jonothan joined JHA as an Associate in 2023, specialising in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters. He has significant expertise in cross-border disputes including asset recovery and fraud matters often involving urgent injunctive relief and related criminal proceedings. Jonothan represents and advises public and private entities and individuals on matters involving complex private international law, regulatory, and sanctions issues.

Jonothan’s MBA training at the University of Cambridge gives him a unique commercial perspective and client-focussed approach to his practice.

Jonothan is dual-qualified in England & Wales and New Zealand and has significant advocacy experience at all levels of the New Zealand Courts, in addition to his experience in the Commercial Court, Chancery Division, and Court of Appeal of England & Wales.

Prior to joining JHA, Jonothan practiced at a specialist litigation boutique in London.
