PROFILE

Sam joined JHA as an associate in 2022. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and international arbitration proceedings, particularly in the LCIA. Sam has acted in a number of high value, complex, and multi-jurisdictional disputes, with a particular emphasis on company and shareholder disputes. His recent cases include several LCIA arbitrations (and subsequent challenges in the High Court under the Arbitration Act 1996) relating to the affairs and control of a Cypriot holding company for a Siberian open-pit coal mine, and an unfair prejudice petition relating to the misappropriation of cryptocurrency by the majority shareholders of a BVI company.

Before joining JHA, Sam worked at a boutique commercial litigation firm in London. Sam completed his pupillage at Selborne Chambers in 2016.
